Perfect Game Baseball
AL West
Anaheim Angels
The return of Mo Vaughn is a big plus but I think they will be lucky to be in contention at the All-Star break, if they were in another division. But they are in the AL West so I think they will compete with the Rangers for first place.

Oakland Athletics
If they can all overachieve they can contend this season. If not, it will be at least another season.

Seattle Mariners
Even though they got rid of Griffey there is still hope right? No. While picking up John Olerud was big, they will still come in last place in this division.

Texas Rangers
Even with Juan gone, the Ranger still have to be the favorite by default. They could very easily slip though.

AL Central
Cleveland Indians
There is doubt in no one's mind that the Indians will win the Central, but how far will they go in the playoffs. Picking up Chuck Finley was big and if Jared Wright can pitch like the pitcher he appeared he would become, the Indians will go far.

Chicago White Sox
There is really no chance for them to overtake the Indians, but if Frank Thomas returns to the Big Hurt of old, this could be the surprise team in the AL.

Kansas City Royals
It will still be a couple of years before they can compete again.

Detroit Tigers
With Juan Gonzales, they should be vastly improved. How much, though, is anyone's guess

Minnesota Twins
I hate to admit it, but I watched Major League: Back to the Minors. Here is the premise: The Salt Lake City Buzz, an affiliate of the Twins, challenge the Twins to a game. Thing is, many people say the Twins should be in the minors in real life. Whether it is true or not, they still can't win in the AL Central.

AL East
New York Yankees
The Yankees will win this year, and should win for the next couple years, but will have increased competition from the BoSox.

Boston Red Sox
They have enough talent to win the AL West but will instead settle for the wild card.

Toronto Blue Jays
Will the real David Wells stand up? If David Wells will return to form, the Jays have ashot at the postseason, barely.

Baltimore Orioles
Overpaid and underachieving, they will stink yet again.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Ah, the life of a fairly new team. They added power, but not wins.
